Description
Modified GRF 1 29
Modified GRF 129 (CJC-1295 no DAC) is a research-grade, synthetic peptide derived from Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH). Often called ModGRF(1-29), it is designed with four amino acid substitutions (D-Ala, Gln, Ala, Leu) at positions 2, 8, 15, and 27, creating a highly stable peptide resistant to degradation and oxidation. These modifications enhance binding to GHRH receptors and improve bioactivity, while maintaining a short-acting half-life similar to natural pulses of GH.
This peptide is not the same as CJC-1295 with DAC. Unlike the long-acting CJC-1295, Modified GRF 1 29 has a half-life of approximately 30 minutes, mimicking natural GH pulses. This short half-life is preferred in some research studies, as it produces a more physiologically relevant GH response.
